| Those are some beautiful birds. I also love waterfalls. We always try to go see some when we are traveling. These are pictures of the highest waterfall we have seen, 1000 Foot Falls in Belize.I'm not sure why they named it that because it is actually 1600 feet. _________________ Life's hard. | I have seen large birds soaring on air currents before. Kind of like paragliding. Going 100 miles though is astounding! _________________ Life's hard. It's even harder when you're stupid. John Wayne

| We had a moss that grew on logs in WV we called Foxfire. When you walked through the woods at night it glowed green.

| The Canadian Arctic is home to some of the most rugged and beautiful terrain in the world. Most of it is very difficult to access. I've been blessed to see some of it, but there is so much more I'd like to see. _________________ Life's hard. It's even harder when you're stupid. John Wayne

| How's this for a bizarre animal story?
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/python-st-louis-zoo-laid-7-eggs-without-male/
Nevermind being the oldest known snake in captivity to lay eggs at the age of 62, she hasn't seen a male in 15 years. BTW, the phenomenon of a female animal reproducing asexually is called "facultative parthenogenesis". That was in the local news story that told me about this. I've know what parthenogenesis is for a while but I've never heard this term before. I love biological, nerdy crap like that. _________________ "When a man loves cats I am his friend and comrade without further introduction." - Mark Twain
