The new Godzilla flick from Toho Studios "Godzilla Minus One" comes out in theaters on 12/1. Rumors are that there will be TWO Godzillas in the film, one in its natural state and one mutated by atomic radiation. Whatever, the trailers look outstanding:

I didn't know you were working on a movie! No wonder you've been busy!
I'll have to check it out later when I'm not on my phone.

I've read a lot of positive things about it. The graphics/CGI look great! It looks much better than that last Hollywood Godzilla movie. It's out at theaters today.

My brother loved it and he's the Big G expert in our family:
Quote :
I can see why Rolling Stone called it the best Godzilla movie ever made, and Forbes said it was one of the best movies of 2023. I will say, though, that Monsterverse fans probably won't like it much: it's not wall to wall monster wrestling. G is in it a lot, but the main focus is on the protagonist and his rebuilding his life after bailing on his kamakaze mission, overcoming his guilt, and joining a group of ex military civilians to defeat the monster. It really is a war drama with kaiju, a Godzilla movie for adults. G is mean, pissed off, and destructive, and they make sure to show how that destruction affects the people on the ground. It brings back the terror that a monster attack would actually cause, rather than being 'disaster porn'. Great movie...

You don't usually hear so much about foreign language films, so it must be really good.
