Didn't bother watching it. Don't care about hearing their politics either!

Why would I watch a show featuring a lot of rap, pop and country performances from spoiled brat "artists" telling me what my politics should be (at least from the first two musical style; I think most country artists think like I do)?  it would be bad enough if they tried to preach at me and I LIKED their music but the jokers who play on the Grammys?   I'd rather watch paint dry.

Fortunately I have the entire Stargate SG1 series on DVD and I'm up to season 5 so I watched that instead.

Most of the "artistes" these days worshipped Barack Obama and conversely absolutely hate Donald Trump so they insist on telling us how evil conservatives are and how much worse off America is now that he's president.

I say the same thing when someone like Ted Nugent spouts off about his pro-NRA views or something; shut up and play your music.

Ok, I got it.

The thing is that music has always been political or having "missions". From every side of the map.. conservative, liberal, atheist, christian, satanic, _________ just name it.

I guess everyone has their right to put their views on their art.

I donīt pay much attention to it nowadays. My whole work is dealing with people who have different views, so I tend to shut my brains off while listening to music. If music is good, I donīt care what they are preaching and keep my filters up.

Same here. I still listen to a lot of "liberal" artists because I don't really care what their political views are.

But that's the entire point; I DON'T CARE WHAT YOUR POLITICAL VIEWS ARE!!! So don't take advantage of the stage an awards show give you to just inundate me with your political commentary.
