Such a musical genuis gone too soon but I am glad i got to hear his music and be a fan and will always be for the rest of my days.

I guess that explains why the classic rock station that was on in the vet's lobby when I took Tux in today was playing a lot of Bowie.

They played one of my classic Bowie favorites.  "Awwwwwww....wham bam thank you ma'am..."

I was there for about 15 minutes and I heard "Suffragette City", "Changes" and "Heroes". Three of my Bowie favorites. I'm not into his stuff much after Scary Monsters but that early music is classic in my book.

Today marks 1 year since he left us :(

It still saddens me, he really had an impact on my life through his music.

Toho those are all good tunes. Its nice to hear that the radio plays more than Under Pressure, Let's Dance, China Girl and Modern Love. all good songs but overplayed.

Sunday was his 70th and today marks his first death anniversary. His death came a month after Scott Weiland's death, for me from Dec 2015 to Jan 2016 it really REALLY sucked for me

When I saw Alice Cooper in October, they played that song as a tribute to him. They nailed it.

Early Bowie is easily my favorite music from him. As you say Addy, stuff like China Girl is OK but I just don't enjoy it as much. Did you ever hear the comedian (I forget who it was) who joked that Bowie sounds like Elmer Fudd on the verses to Let's Dance? He sort of does.

I LOVE Bowie! He is sooo missed!

The EP is available as the second disc to the Cast recording of Lazarus or stand alone. It is 4 songs, the album version of the song Lazarus and the last 3 songs he ever recorded, all of which are part of the Lazarus soundtrack but by Cast members! Get it Addy, it's great!!!

I Love all eras of Bowie but the 80's are a low point! And Low is a high point! HAHA!

ToHo, have you ever checked out the 1st Tin Machine album? I think you would like it!

Bowie has a song for every mood I can ever have!

My go to song when I have a crappy song stuck in my head is Moonage Daydream! All I have to do is think of that opening riff and all is right with the world again!!!
