Yeah, feeding wild animals is generally a dumb thing to do. There are a few exceptions, but bears are definitely not one of them.

I think the problem in New Jersey is that we've gotten rid of a lot of the bears' natural habitat so they started wandering around suburbia and discovered the "bear smorgasbord" known as garbage cans.

It's a stupid law but as long as it pokes holes in the fallacy that I believe is "green energy", I'm all for it.  What that article fails to mention is that the US taxpayer likely funded those wind turbines thanks to the "green initiatives" that give huge tax credits to people who put turbines up.   If a person paid to construct wind turbines or solar panels out of their own pockets then fine, they shouldn't be taxed.  But to my knowledge EVERY such business in the US did it because of the massive tax incentives to do so which means I'm paying for it.  So I say tax away Wyoming.
