Man, I am spending SO much on dvds lately - it's not even funny! I think I'm spending as much on dvds this month as I am cds - maybe even more! LOL! I've spent hundreds so far this month on dvds alone!

Here's my last haul: Just picked these up tonight.

Wrong Turn

Hide and Seek (with Robert DeNiro and Dakota Fanning)

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider

The Jackal (with Bruce Willis and Richard Gere)

Spaceballs (total classic IMO)

Say It Isn't So (with Heather Graham)

High Crimes (with Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman)

Sleepless in Seattle

Alfred Hitchcock: The Legend Begins (4 DISCS featuring 20 classic movies spanning from the 20s to the 60s)

Great movie but it's gory.

Strangely enough, gory stuff doesn't bother as much anymore. Not sure why. Over the last year I've really seen a change for some reason.

Here's my latest slew:

Joy Ride
Don't Say a Word
Cold Creek Manor
The Sentinel
Out of Time
One Hour Photo
Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight

Wall-E: we got that one from Netflix last weekend. Loved it! Ashton pretended he was Wall-E the next day! It was funny!

Oh Brother Where Art Thou; That's a good movie!

The Jackyl: LOVE THIS MOVIE! We own it too!

Willow: We also own this one. One of our faves!!!

You got some great ones!

Punk Rock Holocaust

Quote :
The film features starring roles and performances from nearly every band on this year's tour, including RANCID, SIMPLE PLAN, THE USED, LESS THAN JAKE, ANDREW WK, TSUNAMI BOMB, DROPKICK MURPHIES, SUICIDE MACHINES, ATMOSHPHERE, MEST, PENNYWISE and more as they struggle to keep on the road and figure out who is behind the crimes. The film backdrop includes the Warped Tour's stages, grounds and production areas, as well as the various venues and landmarks that the crew encounters along the 44 date tour.

Quote :
Here we have it folks, a movie with more kills than the entire Friday the 13th series combined and most them are chock full o' gore. If Herschell Gordon Lewis made a musical it would probably look something like "Punk Rock Holocaust". This movie is guaranteed to satify fans of the bands, in that they get to see bands they like die comically horrific deaths. It should also satisfy those who hate these bands by giving them an opportunity to see the bands die comically horrific deaths.

Just got these, some of them are for my son too, but I also enjoy cartoons myself:

The Fifth Element
Stand By Me
Star Wars Trilogy
Bambi
The Fox and the Hound
The Flight of the Navigator
27 Dresses
Into the Blue
50 First Dates
Ever After
13 Going on 30
X2
Pride and Prejudice
The Firm
Breakdown
The Wedding Date
Rush Hour

That should be enough for a while. Since I don't have TV anymore, I watch a lot of movies.

I bought The Cave and never even finished it.

Actually, if you want it, I'll give to you free. That's how much I hated it.

I have these three for trade if you are interested:

The Aviator (drama about Howard Hughes life story, Leonardo DiCaprio stars)

A River Runs Through It (with Brad Pitt, directed by Robert Redford)

and

The Pledge (a suspense with Robert DeNiro ... he plays a cop that's kinda losing his mind.)

I like DeNiro so that one might be interesting. Never heard of the movie though but it HAS to be better than The Cave.

You got a deal!
